A place to explore!
As end-of-year exams start, we know that we’re approaching the longest school holidays of the year. Great for the kids, right? But as the parent, you might run out of ideas on how to keep them entertained. That’s where HintHunt comes in.
HintHunt is the first live, interactive escape game concept to hit South African shores, following successful global franchises in cities like Dubai, London and Paris.
In what can be described as a mental adrenaline rush, the games are designed to put the mind to the test as participants work together as a group to find hidden clues, solve tricky riddles and unlock mysterious puzzles – all with a time limit of 60 minutes in order to escape.
It offers a safe and fun environment to keep the kids entertained during school holidays (especially on rainy days) or to host a birthday party with a difference.
HintHunt South Africa is a nationwide franchise with venues conveniently located in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
Their Johannesburg establishment is situated at the Thrupps Centre in Illovo and has five uniquely-themed game rooms which cater for small groups of 3 – 6 people each. With a fully stocked bar (for the adults, of course), extensive food menu, and a state of the art conference centre that can accommodate up to 60 people, the venue has all your event needs covered.
The venue also has an additional offering in the form of the popular TV game show, ‘Minute-To-Win-It’, where participants compete in a number of 60 second challenges – each one increasing in level of difficulty.
There are two locations in Cape Town – The Old Biscuit Mill and the recently launched HintHunt Superpark at the V&A Waterfront which features 10 game rooms, nautical-themed games like “Shipwrecked” and “Submarine Torpedo”, and an exciting new virtual reality arcade.
There are different package options to suit varying group sizes and requirements. And during November and December, HintHunt Johannesburg is offering a special year-end discount of 10% per booking, using the code HHJHB.
